My Story
Hello! Before I get into my story a few basic things about me...southern gal, wife, bonus mom and fur mom to Lambeau 👩❤️👨 🐶.
So I’m a little over a year into my Scentsy journey. Yes, I call it a journey and not a business because I was not the new consultant that just jumped in two feet in and excelled immediately making extra income. I've taken my time mainly because I was working a full time job as a collegiate athletic trainer that had me busy 60+ hours a week with travel. Then when then boyfriend and I decided it was time to move and settle down in another state I decided I wanted to shift my career into a role where I wasn't working and traveling all the time. So now that we have moved and I've taken a position with less crazy hours I've taken an even more active role in my Scentsy journey/biz. Being part of Scentsy is more than just being part of a direct sells company. Its truly a community that supports us to reach the goals we have set and to make a difference.
Now I went through a phase of buying warmers from another store/company every time a coworkers kids had a fundraiser. However the scents were always the same, they didn’t last long, and some were so overpowering it would give me a headache. Well Scentsy enters my life and immediately I fall in love with the cleaning and laundry lines not the warmers and wax. All that changed when I received my consultants kit. It came with an Etched Core warmer and I figured I need to try it out since I’m now a consultant for the company. Well after I tried this simple yet pretty warmer I was hooked on the warmer & wax. Then once we bought our forever home in Georgia I found myself picking out warmers and diffusers to go in each room.
Now back to my main reason for joining the cleaning and laundry line. I love that it’s safe to use around the little ones, including my four legged baby and the biggest part its safe on my overly sensitive skin.
Since joining and I know I said this earlier, but I have found it to be bigger than just Scentsy, direct sells and extra income. It’s about community, family, and truly trying to make a difference. I have been able to connect and reconnect with people outside my normal athletic circle which has been by far one of my favorite things.
As my Scentsy journey continues I will update on here, but so far it’s going great and I look forward to sharing the Scentsy life with you!
